Michael O'Donnell is a writer and lawyer who lives in Evanston, Illinois. His essays and reviews have appeared in The Nation, the Washington Monthly, the Wilson Quarterly, and the Los Angeles Times, among other publications. He works as an attorney at the Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education. Previously, he practiced law with Robinson Curley & Clayton, P.C., clerked for Judge Ann Claire Williams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and worked as a staff attorney for that court.
